5G-VICTORI to Showcase Demos at FOKUS Media Web Symposium in June
The FOKUS Media Web Symposium (MWS) is an annual international conference organized by 5G-VICTORI project partner Fraunhofer FOKUS that brings together over 200 participants from all over the world to discuss internet-based media delivery. The symposium covers technical aspects, trends, and business-related aspects.
This year’s symposium will take place on June 13-14, and it will focus on advanced streaming technologies, artificial intelligence for media, and media applications and services. On the first day, there will be workshops, tutorials, and exhibitions, while the second day will feature a conference.
As one of the partners of the 5G-VICTORI project, Fraunhofer FOKUS will showcase some project demos during the symposium, including the 5G Edge Rendering and Streaming Demo. The 5G-VICTORI project aims to leverage 5G technologies and edge computing to deliver high-quality, low-latency video content and enable immersive media experiences that are not possible with traditional cloud-based solutions. The 5G Edge Rendering and Streaming Demo showcases how the project combines the power of edge computing and 5G networks to render and stream high-quality videos in real-time.
